What you learn
Lu teaches the way he plays on stage and in the studio: solid technique first, then real songs. Depending on your goals, lessons cover:
- Acoustic guitar from zero – chords, strumming, reading TAB and standard notation
- Fingerstyle guitar – melody, bass and rhythm on one guitar, from first solo pieces to concert repertoire
- Electric guitar – rhythm, lead, tone and playing in a band
- Ukulele – a friendly first instrument for children and adults
- Arranging, transcribing by ear, and recording-studio skills
Every student uses the free TAB player app to practise at home: slow the score down, loop difficult bars and play along with video.

Frequently asked
I have never played before. Can I start?
Yes. Most students start from zero; children from age 4 usually begin on ukulele or a small child-size guitar, moving to a full-size guitar once their fingers are strong enough.
Do I need my own guitar?
Not for lessons – the studio has acoustic, electric and classical guitars and ukuleles from beginner to advanced models, so you can come empty-handed and try sizes before buying. For an instrument to practise on at home, ask on LINE.
Is there a trial lesson?
Lessons are booked and paid per lesson; your first lesson is a normal full lesson where Lu assesses your level and sets a plan.
Can I learn fingerstyle without reading music?
Yes – lessons use TAB, and the TAB player app lets you hear every bar at any speed.
